We are spending our last day in Pennsylvania at the Airstream Club International Rally. It was an amazing rally with 1000 Airstream trailers. I was able to teach a pressure cooking class and a crafting class. I ran the kid’s camp while I was here. And had the opportunity to share my crafts yesterday at the Trinkets, Treasures, and Trailers Craft Market. What an amazing time!

I don’t travel much anymore. With the Navy I saw some really pretty places. I also used to compete in Archey events as an emerging athlete for the Paralympic team till they changed some requirements and I was two points off of being Isabel’s enough for Archery unless I did visually impaired and I don’t do well with having my eyes covered so was not comfortable with that. We did a lot of traning in Salt Lake City and drove from Wisconsin, had competitions all over. So our wedding that was in 2014 I collected friends broken arrows and cut them for wedding crafts. My husband coached for a while after that so I added some archery mugs I made for him to gift the other coaches of the marine team.

I don’t really get to travel much. But when I need to trave I make sure I bring my mini Loklik Luggage with me. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I wish it had a bigger mommy luggage though :face_with_hand_over_mouth::rofl: I brought it with me when we travelled to the cool mountains in of Baguio and the warm waters of La Union. We did experience a scare though when we felt a 5.2 magnitude earthquake. Thank God for keeping us safe.

I love my Fans Carnival Loklik Gift bag :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: But since it’s a mini, I still needed to bring extra bags with me. That’s why it’s looking for a mommy :pray::crossed_fingers: Hoping we can travel more :crossed_fingers::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

This year, my husband and I went to the Bahamas. It was my first time there. I loved it . The hotel, the food, and the people were so nice. However, I am allergic to seafood, so I brought Benadryl with me. My goal was to eat a lot of conch, but the hotel we stayed at was owned by an Indian family, so they only served Indian food. On the second day, my husband and I took public buses to travel to restaurants and stores. I personalized our T-shirts.
The beach was beautiful. We decided to go for a little swim, and the sea took my glasses. We came back home without them :rofl:.
Despite that, we had a wonderful time there. If you decide to go to the Bahamas, get ready for the heat :hot_face:. I showered three times a day .

The fun part was driving on the opposite side . some cars had the steering wheel on the left, and some on the right.

All of my travel has been very local this year, which is a huge change from previous years! I did travel to a nearby lake, and it reminded me of the beautiful Spokane River, Mahogany Bay, Costa Maya, several beaches in California and Florida. There’s something so calming and relaxing about sitting on a dock watching the sunset, worried about nothing at all.

I plan on traveling to Phoenix, Arizona in December. I will attend a conference and visit family and friends I haven’t seen in years.

I plan on making tote bags and t-shirts for a few cancer survivors (myself included)! I also plan on making luggage tags (they came in the mail this week, eek), and travel mugs as well. It’s a big trip so there’s plenty to craft!

My dream destination is Hawaii. I want to make shirts, towels l, luggage tags with the beach, :beach_umbrella: and various activities as the focus.

My husband, daughter, and I traveled to San Diego, CA earlier this year (in January) for a Surf Tournament with my daughter’s soccer league. We had so much fun—it was a great experience both as a family and as a team. While we were there, we visited SeaWorld and enjoyed all the animals and rides.

From this trip, I was inspired by this picture and made a turtle basket for my siter-in-law that I shared here at the community below:

Then, last month me and my daughter (Mom & Daughter bonding) went to Denver, Colorado to attend the RUSH Fest. Let me tell you something about the Rush Fest.

Rush Fest is an annual soccer festival that brings together U12 boys and girls’ teams from Rush clubs across the country. The event features a mix of competitive games , training sessions , and social events , marking the transition from 9v9 to full-sided 11v11 games. Participants can enjoy training sessions led by top coaches and engage in various activities, including classroom sessions and high-energy matches. Rush Fest is designed to provide players with a fun and educational soccer experience, fostering friendships and teamwork. In addition, RUSH is the Largest Youth Soccer Club in the World, over 125 RUSH Communities, 50 Countries with 55,000 players. Also, the Club has over $100 M college scholarships awarded, and over 25 National Championships awarded.

Here is one of my daughter’s best goals :goal_net: from the trip - one of the parents from our team captured it .

So, I guess we’ll be settling down for a bit this holiday season before our next trip to Oceanside, CA next year.
