This isn’t Easter per se but I created this as a present. I took the inspiration from an Etsy craft and created all of it in Idea Studio.

The Sweet Story Behind the Welcome Peeps Sign :rabbit::cherry_blossom:

This little sign was created with the sweetest kids in mind — the ones who get excited when spring arrives and the stores start filling up with their favorite marshmallow treat… Peeps!

I imagined a group of colorful bunny Peeps hopping together to welcome everyone who walks through the door. Each bunny stands side by side like little friends, bringing a bit of Easter joy, bright pastel colors, and that playful spirit kids love so much.

The soft rainbow background was painted to feel like a warm spring sunrise after a long winter, and the big cheerful bow on top adds the perfect touch of celebration. Just like an Easter basket full of surprises, this sign is meant to make little faces light up the moment they see it.

For kids who love Peeps, it’s more than just a decoration — it’s a reminder of the fun of Easter morning, sweet treats, giggles, and time spent together with family.

A simple little craft, made with love, to bring smiles, sweetness, and a warm “Welcome” to every home this spring. :rabbit::yellow_heart::tulip:

Hi, Leah! That’s a very nice project. However, if you want to enter this event it must be an Easter project, and there are specifications for entering. The format is written in the original post, and I also have a post here that explains exactly :point_right: How to Enter Community Events. All of the information is included in the link, along with a video tutorial. We’d love to see your Easter projects!

Here’s my easter-craft Week 1 Entry

IdeaStudio Link: See What I've Been Creating...

Easter is a sacred time of year for me. The miracle of Jesus rising from the dead.
Easter also represents new beginnings or renewal.
I love seeing the world wake up from its Winter slumber, uncovering amazing colorful flowers. I once again wake to the sound of birds singing their songs.
I upcycled a slate sign I found at our local thrift to create this Easter sign. I painted the slate slab turquoise let it dry completely, they painted it it with a nice layer of Elmers School glue, let that dry thoroughly, then painted it with a white chalk paint. and put it in front of my mini heater I use in my studio. Boom, crackle effect. I then sprayed it with a protector coat of clear craft and let it dry.

Story: This card was made for “SOMEBUNNY” Special.

I took 1/4” strips of various Easter and floral paper patterns and glued them to cardstock to make a brand new pattern. I cut my egg, bunny and flowers out of this new paper.

The card is a basic pattern for a swing card. When the card is opened the middle panel swings around and reveals whatever you put on the inside. Be careful where you place things to keep from having them show before it is opened. I saved enough room to write a sweet message to my special somebunny. I included this pattern in the design and a video to show how it all works. There are dashed lines on the folds to make them easier to fold.

Story: The Story of :hatching_chick: Easter kids Style

The colors in this picture look like a sky that decided to celebrate. Soft pinks, blues, and yellows swirl together like springtime laughter. In the middle sits a sweet little Easter sign with a bow and bright eggs, and a message that carries a big truth in tiny bunny-sized words.

Here’s a story you could share with children based on it. :rabbit::cherry_blossom:

“The Bunny Who Learned the Real Easter Story”

One bright spring morning, a little bunny named Hoppy hopped through a meadow filled with flowers and colorful eggs.

“Easter must be about eggs and candy!” Hoppy said happily as he bounced around.

He met a tiny chick who chirped, “Eggs are fun, but that’s not the whole story.”

Next he saw some children laughing and playing with their Easter baskets.

Hoppy tilted his fluffy head. “Then what is Easter really about?”

The children smiled and pointed to a small wooden cross standing in the garden.

“It’s about Jesus,” one child said gently. “Jesus loves us so much that He gave His life for us. But the best part is… He didn’t stay gone. He rose again!”

Hoppy’s nose twitched in amazement.

“So Easter isn’t just about eggs?” he asked.

The children laughed kindly.
“Eggs remind us of new life. Spring reminds us of new beginnings. But Easter is really about the love of Jesus and the new life He gives us.”

Hoppy looked around at the bright colors of spring, the flowers blooming, and the joyful children.

From that day on, whenever Hoppy delivered colorful eggs, he remembered the most important message of all.

He would whisper to every child he met:

“The Easter Bunny loves you… but Jesus loves you even more.” :latin_cross::yellow_heart:
