Hello Crafters!
Another week in the community, and the projects feed has been full of creative ideas again. From Easter preparations to adorable papercrafts and meaningful gifts, here’s a quick look at what showed up lately.
New Projects
@Samanta_Carboni shared a lovely Easter Bunny Cutlery Holder DIY project. One detail worth noting is that the template was specially optimized for cutting felt with the Cutting Machine, helping ensure clean edges during cutting.
@Franziska_Huber posted a 3D Alpaca that I personally loved. With just some simple cutting and assembling, you can create a fluffy little alpaca. It feels like a perfect project to make together with kids.
@Rose_Anne_Elejorde shared a colorful papercraft piece inspired by a childhood dream of a magical castle in Papercraft Dream Come True. The bright colors and layered design make it really eye-catching.
We also saw a first project from a new member. @Catherine_Genet introduced a Newborn Pillowcase designed as a birth keepsake. Personalized pieces like this often become meaningful gifts for welcoming a new baby.
Discussions
@retrogirl1961 asked how to achieve more vibrant colors when pressing with the H17. Questions about H17 usage come up quite often in the community, so we collected some of the most common ones and worked with the technical team to provide answers in H17 FAQ | Camera Pads, Color, and Vacuum Questions.
@Samantha_Bryant shared a helpful walkthrough of Unboxing and Setting Up a New iCraft Cutting Machine. If you’re new to cutting machines, this post is a great reference.
Also, our ourstanding moderator explained the difference between IdeaStudio Link vs. Community Post Link. If you’ve ever wondered why both appear in posts, that thread clears things up nicely.
Community Updates
The Share Your H17 Projects and Win Bonus Film Supplies activity is still ongoing. Share your H17 creations for a chance to receive a 20-piece sublimation film bundle for your next projects.
Our EasterCraft Challenge has also officially started. Quite a few members have already begun their Easter-themed creations.
And the daily check-in activity is back as well: Craft a Little Joy | Share Your Daily Handmade Moments.
A newborn keepsake appearing in the feed always feels a little special. Handmade gifts like that often end up being saved for years.
When a baby arrives in the family or among friends, are you the kind of person who makes something by hand, or do you usually go looking for the perfect gift?
