I don’t know what to say about this. I see very positive having the chance to redeem outside the mini awards store. But the rest of it creates more questions than answers to me, I’m sorry to say.

I don’t want to sound ungrateful, please understand me, but how many projects/hours/materials we need to expend to redeem, I don’t know, cardstock or a vinyl roll?

How a full author creation given away deserves 20 cheers, that I can get giving 20 likes on the forum, and it is less than if I take something from the library and perform some cuttings? Do we need to actually Make them? If I take an official asset and use it, it is when the rest of you can use it, ok. But the thing is it was already there in the library available to use
 I don’t know, I must be missing something here.

Again, don’t get me wrong, those are legit questions arising about this formula and a background difficulty to understand where we are going to in general with some details like those in the events. You find yourself wondering how to approach them without being a churro factory :joy:

Is this compatible with other events? Is this permanent or without an end date so it is more a different reward system test? I mean, are those 20, 35, 60 cheers being given besides from other events we’re joining? So is it a plus? Am I the only one with all those doubts? :rofl:

Thank you for sharing your thoughts—we truly appreciate your engagement and the time you’ve taken to provide feedback. I’d like to clarify one point that may not have been fully explained during the event: submitting original creations for official upload also awards 60 Cheers, the same as using library assets. The only difference is that we ask creators to share their original project files with us so we can upload them to the library for community use.

That said, I hear your concerns about the effort-to-reward balance, especially regarding redeemable items and the valuation of original work versus library adaptations. These are valid questions, and I’ll make sure to share your feedback with the team as we continue refining the system. Our goal is to encourage creativity while keeping participation rewarding and sustainable—not to turn anyone into a “churro factory”!

Yes, this event is fully compatible with other ongoing activities—it’s designed as an extra reward layer, so you’ll earn the 20/35/60 cheers on top of existing event rewards. Think of it as a bonus!

Regarding the timeline, the current end date is tentatively set for September 30th, but since we’re testing this new incentive system, there’s a chance it could be extended based on feedback and results. :wink:

It’s much much more clear now, a lot of things made sense. I can understand way better where you’re going and how this is really an “instead of offering you a material you may not need or already have, ask for what you need, and we’ll see what we can do”. I know for a fact that is what you do, and I really appreciate it and feel grateful. That is going to be sooo helpful!
