Hello LOKLiK Fans

With Easter coming up, we’ve been seeing lots of mug or tumbler projects in the community—colorful, creative, and super fun.

If you’re working with the LOKLiK Auto Tumbler Heat Press, or planning to try your first mug or tumbler project soon, here are a few small things that might help. We’ve all had that moment—peeling off the transfer and hoping for the best. Want to make those reveals feel a little more reliable? These tips might make things go more smoothly:

:round_pushpin: 1. Place the mug/tumbler right in the center of the press
This helps ensure more even contact during heat pressing.

:dash: 2. Avoid having fans or AC blowing on the machine while it’s running
Maintaining a steady environment can help prevent uneven heating during pressing.

:paperclip: 3. Use heat-resistant tape to secure the paper firmly
Stick down both sides and the top and bottom so everything stays flat against the mug/tumbler.

:scissors: 4. Trim the transfer paper so it doesn’t extend past the top or bottom edges
Keep it within the printable surface of the mug.

:repeat: 5. If you notice light spots near the seam, try rotating and pressing again
Press once for 60–70 seconds, then rotate the mug 180° and press for the same time.

Hope this helps make your next mug project a little smoother. And if you’ve got a tip that’s made a difference in your own crafting—big or small—we’d love to hear it :speech_balloon::speech_balloon:

If I’m doing a back and front design so not a full wrap. I use a piece of tape across the top of the mug so I can see where center is front and back.

Great Tips  I would definitely recommend a longer time for the mugs but point number 5 works for Tumblers for sure
