Hey everyone,
Every now and then, someone in the community starts a topic that makes the rest of us pause for a moment. @Judi_B did that last week with Year in review Happy December, sharing a look back at their time with the iEngrave. It naturally sparked a small thought. What new thing did you try this year. What surprised you.
And while people were chatting and sharing memories, the project feed was looking extra lively too. Red and green are everywhere lol, but mixed in with the festive mood are some really charming everyday makes. Here are a few highlights from last week.
What Everyone’s Been Making
@MaterialGirl shared a new cushion themed around their love for cats. Here it is: Life is Better with Cats. Their previous cushion was already memorable and this one is just as sweet.
@rinsky posted a beautiful set of Christmas wood ornaments made with six different sublimation techniques. Each technique brings a different texture and the whole set looks amazing.
@Samantha_Bryant made a very lovely BE JOLLY mini stocking decorated with elegant floral details.
And @redhada shared a hanging felt Christmas ornament garland, a neat and adorable piece that fits perfectly with the season.
What’s Happening Around the Community
@Elena shared an update announcing that several site issues have been fixed, along with a quick survey asking how you browse the community. You can join here:

Your answers will help guide our next round of improvements.
She also released new Sprouts missions in Calling All Crafters: A Major Discovery. If you’re following the game, there’s more for you to explore now.
And @Jodie posted two new IDEA LAB discussions that could really use your experience:
- IDEA LAB Vol.07 | Help Us Improve iPaint with Your Real Experience
- IDEA LAB Vol.08 | Help Us Build Beginner Friendly Digitizing Software
If you’ve tried iPaint or explored digitizing, your insights would be super helpful.
That’s the wrap for last week.
As the year edges a little closer to its end, it might be the perfect time to pick up a small idea, revisit an unfinished project or simply enjoy what others are making.
See you around the community.
