&Project | Family and Christmas Tree

This is a key piece in my Christmas tree decoration. As this year I have been researching my family tree a bit, the idea of recreating it as a small tribute within the tree decoration came naturally to me. I looked for small red baubles that fit this idea and decorated them with the names of my close family in white permanent vinyl, placing each one in the spot that corresponds to them in the family tree.

The tree, which I will show later on, is quite small, so testing my new set of HTVRONT permanent vinyls with such tiny lettering was a bit of a challenge. I do not know how I manage it, but every time I try a new material, it ends up being a small and intricate cut haha.

Still, the vinyl behaved beautifully. It weeded perfectly and I did not even need to be extra careful with the tiny corners. With a small piece of transfer tape I was able to place all the names on each bauble without any issues.

By the way, I needed to find a font that would work well at such a small size and none of the Idea Studio fonts were suitable for this, so I chose this lovely free font from Creative Fabrica called Breathe.

I absolutely love the result. So simple and so beautiful!

Another one done, on to the last project!
