Weekly Update 65 | Still Thinking About Your Valentine’s Packaging?

Hi Community!
Another new week is here, and last week brought a nice mix of fresh faces, sweet Valentine’s projects, and very practical crafting tips. Let’s take a look at what everyone’s been sharing and discussing.

:art: What Everyone’s Been Sharing

@esti_pi shared their first three projects in the community, all of them super cute. Definitely a standout new crafter from last week! If you haven’t checked them out yet, it’s worth a look.

@shirleycobb designed a lovely candy cup that feels perfect for Valentine’s treats and small gift packaging.

@Katrina_Moore shared a First Teacher Appreciation Resin Coaster Set. The little elements placed inside the resin fit the theme beautifully and make the set feel very thoughtful.

@skyicreations posted a step by step tutorial for a paper treat box, another sweet Valentine’s packaging idea:I Love You 3000 | A Cute but Simple Treat Box

:speech_balloon: What People Are Talking About

Moderator @Cory_Barger shared two very practical tips that sparked a lot of interest. One explores using magic sand as a laser engraving jig, and the other shows a washi tape solution for tiny lettering. Both are simple ideas that can make a real difference during making.

@Samantha_Bryant shared a project comparing two generations of cutting machines while making a 3D butterfly card, complete with a video. It’s a great example of learning through hands on comparison.

Thanks for the mention, I’ll try to share more projects. I didn’t know how to do it until a week ago, and little by little I’m figuring out how the community works.

What a great week it’s been. Last week brought a wonderful mix of new faces, creative Valentine’s projects, and practical tips that really show what this community is all about. It’s been fun to watch inspiration and learning happening side by side.

I loved seeing @esti_pi jump in and share their first three projects, such a strong and adorable start, and definitely a new crafter to keep an eye on. @shirleycobb’s candy cup design felt perfectly timed for Valentine’s treats and gift giving, while @Katrina_Moore shared a beautiful First Teacher Appreciation resin coaster set with thoughtful details that tied the theme together so well. @skyicreations also added to the Valentine inspiration with a clear step by step tutorial for a paper treat box that many found both cute and approachable.

And big thanks to @Samantha_Bryant for sharing her projects comparing two generations of the crafter. It really helped me understand that I need that newer machine!

All in all, it was a week full of creativity, learning, and community support. If you’ve been working on something, experimenting, or even just gathering ideas, don’t hesitate to jump in and share when you’re ready. Looking forward to seeing what this next week brings.
