Hi Community,
A new Monday is here. Last week felt especially active, with lots of hands on projects and some very practical conversations around tools and settings. Let’s take a look at what everyone’s been up to.
What Everyone’s Been Making
@ZannX shared a bright and cheerful Hanging Wall Sign made with holographic vinyl. The rainbow reflective lettering really lives up to its sunny theme.
@Rose_Anne_Elejorde posted a black and gold classic invitation. The color pairing feels timeless, and members called it stunning for a reason.
@Samantha_Bryant shared an H10 dust cover made for their own machine. Custom covers always feel a bit comforting, and honestly, the H10 looks almost like a little bear dressed up this way, lol.
@MCVDFC used iPaint to create a floral and music themed framed artwork. Flowers and music come together nicely in this piece.
What People Are Talking About
Calibration and Print then Cut continue to be common topics in the community. One recent beginner discussion came from valf.lebreton’s post, which was happily resolved with help from other members. It’s always nice to see questions turn into finished projects.
If you’re still figuring out Print then Cut after the IdeaStudio 3.0.0 update, this Print then Cut calibration tutorial shared by @BellethehowtoGuru is a great reference.
Two of our moderators also updated their IdeaStudio guides for beginners. Both are solid learning resources if you’re just getting started:
@Cory_Barger also shared a very practical breakdown on how to dial in time, temperature, and pressure for consistent results. This one’s especially useful across different crafts and machines.
What the Team Has Been Updating
@Jodie released Insight Hub #17 | Exploring the Possibilities of a Multi Station Phone Case Heat Press. It’s a thoughtful look at how this type of setup could open up new workflows.
That’s the roundup for last week.
From bright decor pieces to deep dives into settings and software, it’s been one of those weeks where learning and making naturally overlap.
See you around the community.
