Interested in getting an iengrave. Just have seen the end products and think I may want to do some of that. This is all I know about it. Can you give some info?
I have only had mine about a month and knew nothing other than what I had seen could be made. I’m still learning. Youtube has been a great help. Joinsome Facebook groups and read through them daily to see what others are asking and then check the replies. There is some good information here also. Plenty of places and people to help you learn. Good Luck and have fun with it.

The iEngrave is a great machine that is capable of making some fantastic creations. We have an iEngrave hub here: LOKLiK iEngrave Help Hub
We also have a section dedicated to iEngrave projects. Just visit the Inspiration topic and type iEngrave into the tags box and it will bring up some beautiful makes by our community members.
If you have any specific questions you want answered, feel free to ask. We have many wonderful makers who are happy to help. ![]()
I had never owned a laser engraver before I got mine. I have had a ton of fun with it! Both engraving and cutting projects. I have done some playing around with it myself to find what I like the best for engraving and cutting wood. I have also engraved on glass that you need to coat with black acrylic paint first. I have also engraved on slate.
Hi there, a few members have shared iEngrave unboxings and real projects in the community, which are great for seeing how it actually works beyond the finished results:
You can also take a look at the Help Hub. There’s member help, plus some clear info on what iEngrave can make and the kinds of projects people usually start with. It’s a nice way to get a feel for it before deciding.
Hello @Michelle_Tuggle , we are happy to help if you have any specific questions. I have the iEngrave and have also used other diode lasers. I am pleased with the results and projects I have gotten with the iEngrave.
I am way off of needing inspiration. I’m more at the, Is the machine I’m looking at going to be good for a pre beginner." lol. I may need a list of terms first. ![]()
Well, we’ve had many “pre-beginners” who decided to take the plunge, and are happy they did. I don’t have the machine, myself, but it’s one that I would definitely like to have, one day. Olivia posted some good review posts that would probably help you decide. I think the biggest issue, I’ve seen for beginners, is getting it connected. However, we have users that are certainly willing to help get you set up, so that you can dive right on in and start creating.
I don’t know if there is a list of terms, per se, but @rinsky has some iEngrave videos on her YouTube channel you might want to take a look at that may give you some kind of insight as far as those terms go.
Maybe, she can answer more of your questions. I hope this helps. Feel free to inquire about anything you wish. We’re here to help. ![]()
Hi @Michelle_Tuggle! As several members have already mentioned, the iEngrave is an exceptional laser machine. I continue to be impressed by its capabilities and the precision it delivers. I absolutely love mine—especially for engraving and cutting wood and various acrylic blanks. It has quickly become one of my favorite tools in my crafting workflow

Here are my completed projects for you to explore! You can view them in the LOKLiK App or on our online community page in the Inspiration section. Two pieces I’m especially proud of are Crafting Is My RESET Button and the Laser cut Wooden Gift Bag with a green initial letter “R” keychain which is an acrylic that I cut with the iEngrave. I even shared some Home Decor and Birthday Card projects using cardstocks with my iEngrave. I hope these projects—along with the incredible work shared by our community members—motivate you to get your own machine and start creating something truly inspiring.
